MBSR
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the industry standard or beginning mindfulness meditation. Created in 1979 by MIT-trained PhD Jon Kabat Zinn, MBSR s the most documented and studied of the meditative intervention practices.
MBSR has been scientifically tested and explored across more than 25,000 patients at the University of Massachusetts Stress Reduction Clinic, a place of last resort for patients with chronic, unremitting pain and medical conditions.
The MBSR Course is built upon this research and has been scientifically proven to remedy various conditions, rewire the brain’s patterned behaviors, and improve quality of life.
Gullu has completed the training required to teach MBSR by the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
