We embody nature and nature embodies us and in this way, Buddha Nature the liberation which is available to all of us can shine through. This five-day silent meditation retreat will primarily take place in the forests and meadows on the magical 180 acres of RMERC land. As we practice walking meditation, sitting meditation and other mindfulness practices in these beautiful and peaceful surroundings, we begin to quiet and naturally reconnect with the wonder of nature both internally and externally. Spending time in our natural world, we realize more fully that we are not outside of nature and that we are subject to the same natural laws.

Rocky Mountain Ecodharma Retreat Center is a rustic retreat center, at 8500 feet, replete with alpine meadows, spruce forests, birdsong and bugling elk, all under a view of Colorado’s iconic Continental Divide.  180 acres of private river, meadow and woodland set adjacent to National Forest and just a few miles from the Indian Peaks Wilderness. The land is set aside as a nature preserve and home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, elk, moose, bear and beaver.Join us to meditate in this environment, quieting our minds to connect deeply with the magic of nature. We can bring this connection into our work with others as we strive to support the health of the planet.
